Weekly Bulletin – July 14 2019

WADARC meets at – TS Vanguard, 9a Broadwater Road, Worthing. BN14 8AD

THE PAST WEEK

Last Tuesday’s Junk Sale must be one of the worst attended I’ve ever been to. Whilst there were at least 3 club members on holiday, are people not buying surplus gear any more? There were a few good bargains to be had and some very useful components too. Unfortunately, not all of the higher priced rigs were sold and these will now be offered to the public via eBay. If you can remember anything that you meant to acquire but didn’t, please contact Norman, 2E0RKO who is arranging disposal. Many thanks to Alex, 2E0UMD who did very well, stepping in as a first-time auctioneer.

Please note that next Tuesday’s meeting has been changed to a Tea & Chat, which is to give Phil and team a chance to work on replacing the antennas, without missing out on any other activities.

FINALÉ

Thanks to those who donated biscuits last week. We could still do with a few more donations to keep our stock at a non-panic level.
