Weekly Bulletin – February 21 2019

WADARC meets at – TS Vanguard, 9a Broadwater Road, Worthing. BN14 8AD.

Last Tuesday saw a good turnout. The meeting was mostly about digital modes and new member Jonathan very ably demonstrated many of the modules that are available for all digital modes. Norman also demonstrated use of rig and PC, whilst Bryan was getting to grips with hooking up his laptop and KX3.

Next Tuesday will be an on-the-air night with tea and chat. We will be testing out the capabilities of Graham, G8BZL’s TS850S.

It’s hoped that we will hold our Annual Awards Ceremony on Tuesday 5th March. We need to know who will be attending so that we can buy sufficient food for the gathering. Please fill in the following Doodle Poll ASAP to indicate that you and any partner will be there: Please do this by next Wednesday 27th February. If your name isn’t on the list, you can still come to the meeting but there will be no food for you.

We are going to move the club reflectors soon. They will be moving to and appropriate addresses have already been reserved. All members who are subscribed to the current reflectors will be moved to the new system. If you don’t want to be included, please let me know ASAP. Once we have moved, we’ll let all members know of the new email addresses for you to send and receive. There should be no disruption to normal service and you should find the new reflectors much more reliable.
