Ted, G3EUE Will be showing a DVD about an RAF station, Habbaniya, Iraq, where he served in 1942/43. The station was the largest one ever built for the RAF in the 1930s at a time when the UK controlled the area to protect our oil interests. The filming covers the post-war period 1954 to 1957 and is a compilation published by the RAF Habbaniya Association. He will also bring some material relating to the equipment used when he was there.
