Worthing and District Amateur Radio Club Who are WADARC?? We are Worthing and District Amateur Radio club, a very active club, meeting every Wednesday evening at 20:00 hours at the Parish Hall in South Street, Lancing, West Sussex. We celebrated the first 50 years of the club in September '98, and are now looking forward to our next 50!! We have a current membership of over 100 (although we are steadily growing in number!), 90% of whom are licensed. RAGCHEW We publish a bi-monthly magazine, Ragchew (edited by Ben 2E0BSF) The current issue as well as some back issues are held online, on the Ragchew Newsletter page. All are welcome Worthing and District Amateur Radio Club is open to anybody with an interest in radio communications, electronics, or any of the allied subjects. We have our own equipment so a "hands on" approach is available to any members not versed in the technology at our "ON AIR" meetings. If you are already an amateur radio operator, why not call into our Monday night VHF net on 145.425 (S17) FM at 20:00 hours local time. All are welcome. ![]()
