Members Area

This is the Members Area site for WADARC. ENTER HERE. This gives access to additional services and facilities for editing Members account information.

To register for the Members Area, please click here. This involves a manual operation - you will be contacted by email when it is complete.

New Password Rules for "Members Area"

A new system is being developed for managing the password(s) for the Members Area on the WADARC website. This will give Members an individual username (normally their callsign) with personal control of the password. The rationale for this is to remove the difficulties experienced by Members when the password was updated via the Ragchew newsletter.

Initially, Members wishing to access the Members Area will have to register via a form on the main website. The information needed to do this is the Members callsign, full name and email address. As the registration is moderated, the information will be checked against Club records and the account will be set up. Members will be notified by email, of the information provided and the initial password which will be a random string of characters. It may be changed later.

After a Member logs in for the first time, facilities for changing the password, name and email address will be available. However, the callsign cannot be changed as this is the key to the database. The only way to change the callsign (if you upgrade your licence from Foundation to Intermediate for instance), is to delete old account and to re-register.

Terms and Conditions

• These Terms and Conditions must be agreed to before Members can submit a request for registration:
• Members Area registration is moderated, and is only open to Club Members.
• It is the resposibility of Club Members to supply correct information and keep this up-to-date.
• The Worthing and District Amateur Radio Club reserves the right to refuse or to terminate registration if the information supplied is known to be invalid or incorrect. Eg., the email address must be valid and capable of receiving email in the long term.
• The information stored on the registered Members database will only be available to Members only when they are logged in to the Members Area.

The Worthing and District Amateur Radio Club is affiliated to the Radio Society of Great Britain.
