WADARC Diamond Jubilee "1948 Net"

To mark the Diamond Jubilee of the Worthing and District Amateur Radio Club next year, a number of events will be planned. As a start, a Top Band Net has been started by Phil G4UDU. This net on 1948kHz takes place on Thursday evenings, starting at 1900 hours local time.

Initial response has been very good, with a total of 15 members last week, although some members are experiencing very noisy band conditions at the moment, and others are hampered by not having very efficient aerials. To help in the latter case, Phil has developed a loaded dipole for gardens that are restricted in size and is easy to make. It will be featured in the next Ragchew newsletter.
