Reading Acrobat PDF Documents

Documents with the .pdf extension are in Portable Document Format. Such documents are readable using Adobe Acrobat, which is available from Adobe. The Acrobat Reader is also available for free download.

The Reader is also available on many computer magazine Cover CDs. The Acrobat Reader will usually come with Plug-ins for Netscape Navigator and Internet Explorer, so that PDF documents on the Web are automatically opened.
